Contest

The scoring system will work as follows:
• If you predict the correct team in which the UFA/RFA ends up on, it’s 5 points.
• If the team you predict happens to be in the same division as the team the player ends up on, it’s 3 points.
• If the team you predict happens to be in the same conference as the team the player ends up on, it’s 1 point.
5 points will be awarded for overseas/retirements.

SaucerPass will continually update the a page with the leaders of the contest, and when every player is placed (or the deadline is reached), we will add up the points and the player with the most points will win a free vintage NHL jersey!

In case of the extremely rare instance of a tie, the top candidates will take place in a prediction contest involving the games that open the 2009-2010 NHL season overseas.

Please note that Keith Tkachuck and Petr Purcha will not be counted in the contest since they were signed before the submission deadline.

Also note that myself and Jon have entered our picks but are not eligible to win; we’re just havin’ some fun with you guys.
