TSN is reporting that the New York Rangers have acquired Derek Morris for Dmitri Kalinin, Nigel Dawes and Petr Prucha. There are picks being exchanged as well.
Fantasy Impact on New York:
We could see an increase in production from Morris in New York, however, he certainly isn’t worth the add in anything but a deep, deep fantasy hockey league.
Fantasy Impact on Phoenix:
With 3 players involved in the deal, it’s difficult to determine the fantasy impact for the ‘Yotes. In a game or two, we will revisit the trade in a few games once line combos are determined.
