From The Waiver Wire: Morrison to Dallas, Gerber to Toronto

TSN is reporting that the Toronto Maple Leafs have picked up goaltender Martin Gerber from waivers.

Fantasy Impact
It’s still early and there is still a chance that Toskala gets moved. Injuries are a concern with Toskala, so Gerber could certainly be serviceable to the Leafs down the stretch. Managers looking to beef up their goaltenders down the stretch should consider adding Gerber as a stopgap tender.

The Dallas Stars have acquired Brendan Morrison via waivers.

Fantasy Impact
Morrison has busted this season in Anaheim and shouldn’t make that much of an impact in Dallas with Ribeiro and Modano still at center. Leave Morrison alone in all fantasy formats.
