TSN is reporting that Mats Sundin has signed with the Vancouver Canucks for his 18th NHL season.

FINALLY. It’s been a long process, but Mats has found himself a good home and we should see an immediate fantasy impact from the crafty veteran. Expect Sundin to slide into one of the top 2 lines in Vancouver as he’ll see significant time at even strength as well as on the power play. In terms of line combinations, don’t expect Vigneault to split up the Sedin twins. You may find Mats nestled in-between fellow veteran Pavol Demitra and newcomer Steve Bernier. If you’re prospecting, definitely give these two players some consideration as Mats is the complete offensive package and should help out the players around him a great deal.
