Platooning is when there really isn't a defined starter and the coach uses both goaltenders to get the job done. The best case scenario that I can think of right now is in Edmonton. They have 3 goaltenders platooning to get the job done. Garon started the season as their starter, but there has been a shift to Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers and then again to Roloson. For fantasy purposes, stay away from platoon situations if you can. If you are stuck in one, make sure you double check before each game which tender will get the nod that evening. Sure thing, Brian.
