TSN is reporting that Daniel Alfredsson has had successful arthroscopic knee surgery and should return to action in about 2 weeks.
Fantasy Impact:
Alfredsson owners can breathe a little easier now. Throw him on injured reserve and just pick a flier for now. If he doesn’t get IR eligibility, suck it up and wait out the 2 weeks. He should still be able to end up between 70 and 80 points this season if he remains healthy.
